Murukku Sticks
Murukku (muh-rook-oo) — the crunchiest thing to come out of a South Indian kitchen. And that's saying something.
Ours are made with rice flour and gram flour, studded with nutty sesame (til), and shaped into sticks you can actually eat without making a mess — unlike the traditional spiral, we know. Super crunchy. No maida. No preservatives.
In Tamil Nadu, murukku isn't just a snack — it's a ritual. Made for festivals, offered at temples, fought over at family gatherings. We just made it available every day.
